8am - 9:30am Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga class

9:45am - 11:00am Vegetarian Breakfast

11:00am - 2:00pm Free time (Swimming pool, Hiking, Rest or Beach time*)

2:00pm - 3:30pm Vegetarian lunch

3:30pm - 6:00pm Free time (Siesta, Swimming pool, Hiking, Rest)

6pm - 6:45pm Technique or Lifestyle workshop

7pm - 7:45pm Restorative Yoga / Yin Yoga / Yoga Nidra

8pm - 9:30pm Vegetarian dinner

11pm Quiet time

 

*Transfer to the beach will be provided, possible to be picked up for lunch or stay over lunch and pick up for afternoon workshop

THE CLASSES

Morning classes and afternoon workshops will be adapted to the level of the group

YOGA

The morning class is Ashtanga based led class, adapted to the level and possibilities of the students. Everyday will do the same, at the same time, focusing on the breath and the concentration to work not only body but also mind.

The afternoon workshops will alternate technique classes with theory workshops on how to apply the yoga philosophy to the modern urban gay lifestyle.

The evening class will  be alternating sequences of more restorative practices with specific focus in stretching, opening up and relaxing after the day.

 

FREE TIME

During the free time you are free to do whatever you want. We suggest that you rest, you read, you bond with the other participants and you use the possibilities of our natural environment. If you need more physical activity swimming in our pool will be ideal as you can also work on your breath and concentration. From the venue there are easy hiking paths you can follow into the public mountain and even go visit the ruins of a monastery of the XV century (a 2 hours walk).

We will provide transfer to the beach and if you want to stay for lunch we will give you a lunch box and a sun umbrella. There is a clothing optional beach nearby.

While the venue has Wi-Fi in the common areas (not in the rooms!) and cellular coverage (not excellent) you should use this week to become a bit more independent from your phone and your apps.

 

NUTRITION

All food will be vegetarian and there will be vegan options. If you are not already a vegetarian a week eating vegetarian won't change the world or your life but maybe you discover that eating vegetarian is not only more healthy and respectful with the planet we live in but delicious and very tasty and you can start implementing a more plants based diet later on in your life.

Both the cook and the instructor are committed vegetarians/vegans that are convinced they will surprise you with the richness of options that the vegetables and fruits from Valencia can provide.  If you feel you cannot live a week without meat or fish then best is that you don't come.
